presenting without enough emotion or passion
talking down to the audience
using abstractions without giving concrete examples
using too much "big words"
using unfamilar technical jargon

emphasize understanding
watch your emotional tone
persuade the audience by your opinion

3.How to gain confidence?

smile and glance at the audience
start very slowly,with your shoulders back and chin up
open your speech by saying sth very frankly
wear your very best clothes
say sth positive to yourself

4.What's the objectives of your speech?

to offer information
to entertain the audience
to touch emotions
to move to action

5.How to organize the speech?

to have a structure:such as first, second ,third....compare and contrasts,our sides versus their sides,
negative and positive

to label the materials such as jokes, funny anecdotes ,favourite saying ,interesting statistics
to use notecards

6.How to use cards?

number your cards on the top right
write a complete sentence on both your first and last card
write up to five key words on other cards
use colour to mark the words you want to emphasize
remind yourself at a particular sport check the time

7.How to copy with brownout?

Just smile and go to the next cards, not the one in front of you, but to the next following .look at the first word on it. This wii be the point from which you will now continue. of course you missed part of your speech .But

nobaby wil notice it , they'll blame themselves for not following your thoughts.

move your eyes slowly from person to person,and pause 2 or 3 seconds with each listeners
look at the people straight
look for the friendlier faces and smile at them one by one , then move to the more skeptical numbers and
smile at them one by one also

imagine the audience in bathrobes in case you're nervous


11.How to use the microphone?

your must speak up and preject your voice even if you're using a microphone
pitch your voice slightly lower than normal .listeners tend to associate credib
