bada SDK and IDE

The bada SDK is a software development kit that includes the bada platform binaries, documents, and sample codes.

The bada SDK consists of the following:

Platform binaries and libraries

Binaries of bada and 3rd party libraries

Header files

Header files of bada

IDE

Integrated Development Environment based on Eclipse CDT (C/C++ Development Tools) and JSDT

(JavaScript Development Tools)

Tools

Emulator

This tool emulates the target device and provides an optimized environment to debug and test

applications on the local machine before deploying it to the real target device.

Event Injector

This tool artificially creates events and data, such as calls and messages, needed to test

applications on the Emulator.

Tool-chain (compiler and debugger)

Performance Analyzer

This tool provides monitors to trace the usage of various application resources, such as databases,

files, and memory, and displays the tracing results in multiple Eclipse views. Sample applications

To receive updates to the SDK or new SDK versions, install the bada SDK Updater as a plug-in for the bada IDE. With the bada SDK Updater installed, the IDE checks for SDK updates each time it starts. When a security warning dialog is displayed during the installation, click OK to ignore it.
