1. Do you think it’s necessary for a person to have ambition? Why or why not? W： hello , xc, here i have a question to ask you. Do you agree that it is necessary to have ambition in our life?

X: I agree with it .

W: well,can you tell me some your perceptions?

X: of course.There is no doubt that people’s aspiration to success is important and it guides people through the process towards their goals. With an ambition in our heart, we’re always trying our best to use our talent to ourselves, thus benefiting ourselves and others.So being ambitious is considered to be the essential quality of successful people.

W: In my point of view,ambition brings about advantages as well as disadvantages in people’s life.first of all, Unrealistic ambition may prevent us from seeing the limits of our own abilities.

We devote our attention to one narrow aim, and we lack the breadth of view which is a necessity for greater success.

Then Our ambition can be limited to lifeless aims, which lead us to the way to build up our reputation through possessions of artificial signs of worth.

Moreover Our ambition may make us among those selfish people who gain their interests by sacrificing others’ .

X: Yes ,As a proverb goes,”every coin has two sides.”Therefore, Ambition is a good servant but a bad master.Therefore, we must try to direct it in a proper way. X: You’re right. The key is to realistic ideals and work step by step to realize them. 2. Who plays a crucial role in your life? In what way?

W: hello XC, here i have a question to ask you. in your opinion, Who plays a crucial role in your life?

X:I may meet many important people in my life. But as far as I am concerned, among them, father is the most important. And in my heart, no one can replace his. W:why?can you give me your explanations?

X:He gives me life and keeps me company at any time.When I am in difficulty, he always stands in the same boat with me.As a saying goes,”Like father,like son.”

he gives me all that he can do and wants nothing. What he does moves me so much
