A Review of "Star Wars Episode"

It is a science fictional movie .The screenwriter uses imagination to create life of future in space. It opens a new view for people.

The story happens in the space. As a sequel of " Star Wars'', "The Empire Strikes Back" begins with the accident that Luke meets when he is on duty on a snowy mountain. He is caught by a bear, and when he escapes from the danger, he is heavily wounded. When he is in the state of unconsciousness, he sees the spirit of Ben Obi-wan Kenobi, and Ben gives him inspiration to find Yoda (Frank Oz ).At the same time, the empire of the Galactic, Darth Vader(David Prowse) invades their planet. Han Solo(Harrison Ford) and the princess Leia(Carrie Fisher)escapes. Luke with R2 goes to the planet Dagoban to learn how to control the Force. With the help of Youke, Luke can gradually control the Force. He foresees that his friends will suffer pain, so he decides to save them. Han and Leia go to the Cloud City to ask help. the leader there is Han’s friend Lando(Billy Dee Williams). To avoid the destruction of the Cloud City, Lando cooperates with Vader. Han is trapped in the block of carbonite. Lando helps Leia to escape from Vader. Meanwhile Luke arrives at the City. He fights with Vader at the expense of losing his right hand. Vader also says that he is Luke’s father. Instead of cooperating with Vader, Luke throws himself from the airshaft. When he is in extreme danger, Leia goes back and saves Luke.

The director of this movie is Irvin Kershner. He is an American film director. He is famous for directing quirky, independent films in his early career.

The special effects in this movie develop. Special effects seem more realistic.
