Fei Xiaotong

Born into a rich family on Nov.2,1910 , Fei Xiaotong , a famous Chinese sociologist , passed away due to diseasd in Beijing on Apr.24,2005.

In 1930 , he was admitted to Tsinghua University in which he first majored in medicine but changed his mind later. And then , he went to England where he got his doctor’s degee for further study . After 1938 , he once tought in Tsinghua University and Peking University. Fei Xiaotong , who devoted himself to the research on sociology , made great contributions to the development of economy in chinese countryside.
