本文针对当前我国对外经济法规汉英翻译的一些实际问题，探讨了以翻译规律来规范对外经济法规汉英翻译的可能性，提出了基本规律和特殊规律。本文指出，对外经济法规汉英翻译必须遵循建立在服从法律英语的语言特点和表达规律基础上的对外经济法规翻译规律。研究结果表明，这些规律都是通过分析法规译文中的典型错误，结合国内翻译理论进行总结归纳才提出的，对经济法规的翻译实践有重要的指导意义。
