Role Summary

This position will provide deep channel expertise around technical VAR channels, provide an Energy Services (ES) portfolio view of the technical channel portfolio within the China region, identify synergies across product lines and region geographies, implement practices and tools aimed at increasing effectiveness and monitor/resolve channel conflict. This position will be linked to the Technical VAR Specialist role at HQ to implement in the region.

Responsibilities

Financial

Develop and execute the region growth strategy for technical VAR channel representative portfolio including SI/SII planning/forecasting. Responsible for orders

growth and penetration.

Set channel specific business plans, G&Os for the channel portfolio within the region;

implement and review regional channel performance dashboards, take corrective

actions to achieve G&Os

Maximize GE ES’ financial return from technical VAR channel portfolio

Effectiveness

Identify potential partner candidates, screen against P&L ideal partner profile, qualify candidates and fcilitate thru the partner recruitment process

Collaborate with the P&L and sales teams to:

A. Develop and/or refine coverage model in each region; optimize technical VAR

portfolio and leverage synergies across ES

B. Manage channel conflict across ES technical VAR portfolio

Implement and help regional channel managers apply processes and frameworks to enhance effectiveness of channels and embed best in class practices Apply methodology to evaluate channel effectiveness; incorporate into regional operating mechanisms

Compliance

Create a culture of highest integrity and compliance within indirect channels. Enforce global compliance standards; oversee compliance due diligence and audit programs. Maintain region risk profile within accepted standards.
