Syllabus and Schedule: GEOL& 101: Intro Physical Geology

Course Description: An introduction to physical geology including the origin, composition and structure of the earth and the processes that generate landscapes.

Please note: This class was GEOL 100. If you took Geology as GEOL 100 it still counts. Credit will only be given for one geology course, either GEOL 100 or GEOL& 101. For a complete listing of affected courses and student FAQs, visit: doc.docsou.com

Prerequisites: Placement into both Math 90 and ENGL& 101.

This course has two lab sections and you can only attend the lab session for which you registered. You will be required to complete pre-lab quizzes which will be administered through our class Canvas webpage.

day of the exam, you must let me know at least a week ahead of time so we can schedule a make-up exam. Make-up exams must be re-scheduled for dates before the official exam. Any changes that you think should be made on an exam score must be written, attached to your exam, and submitted within one week of the day the test was returned. No changes will be made after one week. Cheating will be brought to the attention of the Dean of Students for disciplinary action.
