MoaGear is dedicated to producing high quality, designer casual and active clothing. Designed and inspired by the extreme weather in New Zealand since the 1990’s. Our products are designed to look great and perform,when it really matters.

The team at MoaGear love living in New Zealand. Every day is different, and that includes the changing weather. Our team needs to be prepared for the elements because very often we get four seasons in one day.

Moa, the brand started in the 1990's and was created 'down under' by down to earth people for those seeking clothing with a difference, while keeping with the needs of the ever changing environmental conditions.

We have created a natural, high performance clothing system with a fresh set of ideas based on respect for nature and sustainability using a variety of different fabrics and technologies.

The name Moa comes from a native New Zealand flightless bird that stood over 2 metres (6 feet) tall and was common on the eastern side of the South Island, where we as a company are based. It is believed that the Moa was totally extinct in 1769 when Captain Cook landed in New Zealand.

MOA这个名字来源于新西兰当地的一种不会飞的大鸟，高2米（6英尺），通常在南岛东海岸，正如我们的公司所在地。据说这种鸟是在1769年库克船长（英国探险家和航海家）着陆新西兰的时候彻底灭绝了。
